Ruth M. Madden Named Professional of the Year in Community Development
Ruth M. Madden featured by Senior Source magazine and honored with The Penny Award
EVERETT, WA, September 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ruth M. Madden, Ombudswoman for the Long-Term Care and Aging Division of Snohomish County, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Community Development. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Driven by her commitment to the elderly community, Ruth M. Madden is a strong advocate for senior citizens in Snohomish County. Backed by over three decades' expertise in bookkeeping and community outreach, she visits and communicates with residents, working to assuage their problems and liaise between them and the government. As Ombudswoman for Snohomish's Long-Term Care and Aging Division, Ms. Madden is also responsible for ensuring the happiness of residents, coordinating retired and senior volunteer programs and performing administrative tasks.
A certified administrator, Ms. Madden retired herself in 1994. Since then, she has been featured by Senior Source magazine and honored with The Penny Award. She credits her success to her dedication and desire to help others and will seek to continue to grow personally as she moves forward.
