ABBOTSFORD, BC, CANADA, June 17, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Thelma G. Shrock has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational work in the Social Services Industry. As Executive Director of Abbotsford Community Services for the past 10 years, Thelma has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Abbotsford Community Services was established in 1969 as an interdependent, non-profit, multi-service, community based agency. They strive to be an agency that fosters community well-being and social justice through positive action and leadership. The organization programs encompass early childhood development, counseling and youth services, immigrant settlement and senior services. Every year the 300 plus staff members of Abbotsford Community Services help more than 37,000 residents in one way or another through their 70 different programs.

Thelma has 41 years of experience in social services and is an expert in health administration. During her educational career, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English as well as Health Administration. In the time away from her busy schedule, Thelma loves hiking and is an avid classical music enthusiast.
