Jonann Ford celebrates a successful career in healthcare

KANSAS CITY, KS, January 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jonann Ford, Designated Care Manager / Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living Community, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, loving compassionate care, service and excellence in Senior care-giving.

As a Designated Care Manager / Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living Community, Ms. Ford is responsible for assisting senior residents with all aspects of daily living, preparing medications and treatments and administering the medication to each designated resident under her care. When she was younger, she cared for her grandfather and learned from her grandmother how to treat others and wanted to do the same. She attributes her success to her personal experiences and prides herself on being loving, kind and gentle, giving compassionate service, being patient and personable and treating her residents with respect and dignity.

Ms. Ford received her Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2002. As a student of Kansas City Community College she completed two Associate Degrees (Associate in General Studies and Associate in Science: General Biology) between 2001 and 2004. She was affiliated with the National Dean's List for two years and was also a Phi Theta Kappa, 5-star member for two years. In addition, she was on the President's Honor Roll for three years and the Vice-President's Honor roll for one year. Ms Ford intends to obtain her LPN, RN, and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
