Eva P. Thornber Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Eva P. Thornber recognized for dedication to senior care

DAYTON, OH, June 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eva P. Thornber, Activities Specialist for Maria Joseph Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of senior care.

Ms. Thornber has eight years of professional experience. She assumed her current position at Maria Joseph Center, a nursing home, in 2005. As an activities specialist, she plans entertainment for residents, such as crafts, parties, bingo and other games, always placing emphasis on giving each resident personal attention. Ms. Thornber enjoys what she does and finds fulfillment in giving back to the community alongside her husband, who is a pastor currently studying to obtain his chaplaincy. She attributes her success to her drive and to the support and guidance she receives from her superiors.

In addition to being a Certified Activities Specialist, Ms. Thornber received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2000 from Guilford College. She is the leader of the Red Hat Society at Maria Joseph Center and a Care and Kindness (Employee of the Month) Award recipient.
