PokerTime Ups The Ante In Their Power Play-offs For The Month Of March
Groundbreaking live leaderboard action is taking place this March at PokerTime.

STANMORE, ENGLAND, February 25, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Each month, Players at PokerTime [ www.pokertime.eu ] are grouped into specific Player Tiers, based on how many Poker Points they have earned the previous month. The Player Tiers, namely Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, therefore determine they types of promotions and events available to each Player. The more a Player participates in the ring games and tournaments PokerTime has on offer, the more points they will accumulate and the higher they will climb across the tiers, month on month.

In March 2009, the PokerTime Rake Races will collectively become known as the Power Play-offs. Blue and Bronze tiered Players, will participate in two USD20,000 Supercharged Play-off events, whilst all Silver/Gold and Platinum tiered Players will partake in two USD20,000 VIP Power Play-off events . PLUS every single Player who earns at least 50 Poker Points during the month of March will also be invited to the USD20,000 All-In Power Play-off tournament.

In addition to the Play-off events, PokerTime will also be promoting the all-new Power Smackdown tournaments; two USD15,000 events which are open exclusively to all PokerTime players who participated in any one of either the Supercharged Play-off or the VIP Power Play-offs. These exclusive invitation only tournaments will take place on the 19th of March and the 3rd of April, and can only be accessed by either placing in the TOP100 on the VIP Power Play-offs or by finishing in the TOP10 the Supercharged Play-offs. There will also be 40 WildCard draws, to be awarded to anyone who featured on any one of the leaderboards at some time during the month of March.
