With nine years of nursing experience, Ms. Johnson has been working at Golden Manor Jewish Home for the Aged for one year as Director of Nurses. She has cultivated an expertise in overseeing clinical care nursing and is responsible for managing staff, writing policies and procedures and overseeing the Patients Care Level.
Having previously worked in several areas of the nursing field, including surgery and intensive care, Ms. Johnson returned to geriatric healthcare where her passion lies. Her goals include continuing her education and taking part in legal consultations. The biggest issue facing the geriatric healthcare industry, in her opinion, is the care level of the patient.
Ms. Johnson received her certification as a Registered Nurse from the University of Texas, San Antonio. She attributes her success to her hard work, desire and passion for her profession.
