Historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Introduces New Community Mausoleum

/Seniors News Articles/ - SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY, April 04, 2008 - With Spring upon us, the new Community Mausoleum at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is entering its final phase of construction. The Community Mausoleum provides a combination of crypts and cremation niches in an ambiance reminiscent of the cemetery's historic chapel. Overlooking the magnificent Hudson River, those who reside in the Community Mausoleum will be afforded an eternity of serene repose in an exclusive community unmatched in beauty, history, and charm.

The Mausoleum has 1150 burial crypts and cremation niches. Crypt sales have exceeded all expectations. "Families who understand the importance of Pre-Planning are driving sales. These families do not want to leave the burden of choosing their final resting place to children and loved ones. Especially popular are out glass cremation niches. Before the Mausoleum officially opens, these may all be sold out. "Another advantage, says David Logan, is the on-site presence of a bereavement professional specially trained to work with people making end-of-life decisions. It's one of the things that sets us apart from other cemeteries."
Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is Non-Profit and Non Denominational.
